Environmental Standard
EVERFINE STONE MATERIALS (YANTAI) CO.LTD. always engaged in social responsibility, we successfully passed LEVEL 1 audited by TFT and get authorized certificate on June 28, 2015. TFT is a global unprofitable organization who aims to help enterprises provide responsible products, which has been considered the most authoritative audit organization in timber, pall oil and stone industry.
Now in Shandong province, there are only two stone factories up to TFT Level 1.
In whole China, there are only several stone factories up to this level.
Since the quarry and plants of G341 closed by government from May, 2017, the membership of TFT will be terminated timely.
Meanwhile, we are also the membership of FAIR STONE, which is the international Social Standard for natural stone imports from developing and emerging markets. Natural stone importers – the Fair Stone Partners – implement certain criteria within their supply chain and therefore actively improve the working conditions in stone processing factories and quarries. EVERFINE plays a crucial role in ensuring the protection of the environment, as well as promoting occupational safety and health, and safeguarding human and labor rights. These standards provide guidelines and requirements for organizations to implement effective environmental management systems.
Customers – municipalities and private consumers – are able to contribute to the improvements in working conditions in China, Vietnam and India by buying Fair Stone natural stone products such as cobblestones, kerbs or slabs. With growing demand supply chains from other countries will be added to the Fair Stone standard.
